I have two daughters who have bought puppies from Creatures. The youngest daughter bought what was supposed to be a pure bred long haired Chihuahua. He is no more a pure bred than I am. I might add that he was a costly $1200.00! My daughter was told by this local pet store that they do not give out information of where the pups come from. If there is nothing to hide then why wouldn't they freely give out this information, especially to the buyers?!!

My oldest daughter bought a pure bred Golden Retriever from this same local pet store. Before the pup was a year old it had to have major surgery done to it's back legs. The vet said he had never seen such a young pup to be in such bad shape. This was a direct result from the breeding of the ancestors of this pup aka "poor breeding". The vet bill alone cost my daughter and son in law over $10,000.00. What would have happened to their pup if he had gone to a home that couldn't afford to do the surgery that was needed. I do not wish anyone to go through what my own family has gone through especially at the expense of my daughter's dog.

Quality and caring breeders do not put their puppies in pet stores. It is my opion that pet stores do not get their pups from reputable breeders, ever!
